The front itself has a railroad track running its entire length. This track is serviced by two gantry cranes, each of 100 tons capacity.

The left portion of the range has two has two 35 m towers which could be moved to any part of the left half of the range or down range 250 meters at four different places.

At the extreme left is a depression firing position. Direct right of this a butt for impact of 0 degrees firing from the free recoil mount at that position.

Completely at the right of the front are two ranges each 125 m long. Each with 2 butts. This ranges were used primarily for powder testing.
